MY ARCHIVE -- AL.com, Yellowhammer News, Alabama Policy Institute, and more
I have published hundreds of essays advocating and explaining the conservative perspective on a wide array of topics, including abortion, the First and Second Amendments, free markets, fair trade, education, energy, immigration, law and order, judicial activism, parenting, issues of faith and culture, and the many fundamental aspects of conservatism.
You may browse them here:
AL.com — I wrote a popular weekly column here for several years, which was also carried in the print editions of the Birmingham News, Mobile Press-Register, and the Huntsville Times.
Yellowhammer News — I was the editor of this popular, state-wide conservative website for a time.
Alabama Policy Institute — I was a senior fellow at API, where I advocated and wrote about issues pending before our State Legislature.
I have also been published elsehwere, including at The Federalist and the American Thinker.
I have written two well-reviewed books and one nonfiction short story collection:
“American Warfighter: Brotherhood, Survival, and Uncommon Valor in Iraq, 2003-2011,” which ranked as high as #25 in Amazon’s history category.
“A Forgotten Man,” which earned an Honorable Mention in the Conservative-Libertarian Fiction Alliance Book of the Year Award contest.
“Undaunted,” a brief collection of short stories from World War II.
