Most folks are familiar with what American conservatism supports today — limited government, low taxes, few regulations, and in case you haven’t seen all the campaign commercials of politicians awkwardly walking through someone else’s field carrying someone else’s shotgun — the right to keep and bear arms.
But those are policies.
What we might not be as familiar with are the principles that led to them, and that continue to support them today.
